Boyd Mountain Tree Farm: 445 Boyd Farm Road, Waynesville, N.C. (Exit 20 off Interstate 40). Owner: David Boyd. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily through Dec. 23. Trees: Fraser fir (balled and burlap). Cost: $8/foot and up.

Buttermilk Christmas Tree Farm: 7000 Buttermilk Road, Lenoir City. Owner: Steve Lockett. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today and Saturdays; or 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday by appointment. Closed on Sundays. Trees: White pine and Norway spruce. Cost: $25 and up. Wreathes, $20 and up.

Camp's Christmas Forest: 415 Kile Road, Sweetwater. Owners: Fred and Linda Camp. Hours: 2-5 p.m. today; noon-5 p.m. Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. Trees: White, Scotch and Virginia pine, Norway spruce and Leyland cypress. Big trees available.

Crosseyed Cricket: 751 Country Lane, Lenoir City. Owners: Jim and Jean Lockwood. Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Trees: Spruce and Douglas fir. Cost: $38 and up.
