About Gina Carano:

Gina Carano was born on April 16, 1982, in Dallas County, Texas. As the daughter of former NFL and USFL quarterback Glenn Carano, Gina Carano grew up in an athletic family and was active in dancing, gymnastics and basketball at Trinity Christian School in Las Vegas.Although Gina Carando had the opportunity to continue playing sports at the university level, she stayed close to home and enrolled in psychology at the University of Nevada. Part of her reason for remaining in Nevada was because her sister, Casey, was battling a substance abuse problem and Gina Carando felt that it was important to be close by.
